Tokyo, Japan | Photo Diary

I'm finally back from my well deserved hiatus. You're probably wondering where I have been? Well to cut a long story short, I decided to take a long over due 2-months break from blogging and it was definitely the best decision that I made as it saw me spend more time with my friends and family over the festive period. It was a great little break to refresh my brain for 2016.

Anyways, I'm back with a photo heavy post of all things Japanese. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, then you'll know that I have recently plodded across the pond to Tokyo, Japan in January. R and I decided this was the destination to visit and as it was our 11th year Anniversary, we thought why the hell not book an 8-day holiday to the one destination that has been on both of our bucket list.

The only way to best describe Tokyo is that it is one hell of a city and you'll definitely need a good pair of walking shoes. I was in constant awe and felt so overwhelmed every time I stepped foot in a new territory. Tokyo is big, Tokyo is huge and if you're not careful, then you can easily get lost in the mind boggling narrow streets filled with bright lights and over advertised billboards. People are so friendly, food is ah-mazing and all the sights that I had the pleasure of visiting was simply breathtaking.

I'm glad you were able to take a much deserved break and spend it with friends and family ^.^ sometimes it feels great to just disconnect from technology a while and just spend time having fun out. I recall going to Tokyo for the first time and I couldn't put my camera down because I just wanted to take a picture of every corner. You took such beautiful photos :)
