Shadow & Highlight

A pop of colour is always a good option! Well, for me it is as I've recently been on a Eye Shadow buying spree - my credit card doesn’t know whats hit it! I’m always on a hunt for the perfect shade of colour that matches my dark brown eyes and also a highlighter that gives me that glamorous glow. I'm so happy with my recent purchases and guys, I’ve been experimenting and I think I’m in love..

Charlotte Tilbury - Vintage Vamp

It was love at first sight when I stumbled across this palette at the Selfridges counter in Birmingham. The colours are deep, intense and rich. Charlotte Tilbury describes this as 'Desk to Disco' and I couldn't agree more. It can be easily made in to an everyday office look from the cool purple tones and then dramatically changed up with the dark purple shades for a glamorous evening look. A versatile platte for any makeup enthusiasts.

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer

A product that really does live up to its name! A single pop to the inner corners of the eyes and on the cheek bones brings a sparkle and a natural glow to a makeup look. It is extremely pigmented with a gold sheen to it. The packaging is so adorable and reminds me of Benefit, but at the fraction of the price. It is currently standing at the number one spot of my favourite highlighters. I've been using it from the moment it came through the letter box.

Stila Eyes Are The Window- Spirit

I stumbled across this palette on ASOS and quickly added in to my basket. It has all the colours that is perfect for brown eyes and it comes in a perfect size mirror, ideal for taking on holiday or popping in to your makeup bag. I love the  selection of calm, soft, earthy tones - perfect for a natural, everyday look. My favourite tone is 'Jezebel' (5th colour form above).

What are your favourite eyeshadow and highlighters?

I use the blusher brush from real technique! I don't think it is the correct brush for it, but it works fine for me! I hope this helps?
