I've never come across a product that market itself as 'magic'. Some might add that using the term magic is a bit of an over exaggeration and to an extent, I agree. Charlotte Tilbury is doing something right with her marketing campaign because Charlotte Magic Cream is fast becoming more popular than her makeup range.
Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream was first established over 20-years ago when she concocted her very own age defying skincare cream for models backstage. Her now not-so-secret mix of anti-age ingredients includes hyaluronic acid bootster Sodium Hyaluronate and floral extract that lifts and transform skin - Other ingredients include: Rose Hip oil and Vitamin E. Here is a more in depth detail on what this 'magic' contains.
To be honest, I was already sold by her stunning packaging and I'm sure most of Tilbury's consumers are lured in by her gorgeous rose gold plating. The cream itself is thick in consistancy, however when massaged in, it becomes light and discolves in to the skin. You only really need a pea size amount for the entire face and it doesn't leave the skin feeling or looking greasy. It leaves a beautiful sheen on, giving it a natural glow, but not leaving the skin looking like a disco ball.
I've been using the cream for a month now, usually as my morning moisturiser. It sits so well under makeup and my skin looks and feels bouncy, It still feels moisturised no matter how heavy the my base/foundation is (I usually use Estee Lauder Double Wear). The cream has a slight floral scent to it, but nothing too heavy that will irritate those with sensitive skin, like myself.
I got this at a cheeky 35% through a well known department store. It currently retails at £70.00 and I think that is possible the only down fall for this product. It is so expensive, even if it is a high end beauty brand. Spending £70.00 on skincare, not knowing if it will actually work, is a risk in itself. Would I purchase it at full price if it wasn't for the discount? No. Will I repurchase after using this cream? At the moment, YES, but I would love to test this product for longer to see more of a result, if any.

I picked up a sample of this a while back and fell in love! I also tried her clay mask which worked wonders on my skin - I'd really like to see her extend her skincare range (probably not best for my bank balance though)

Hey Sitha! Thank you for your comment. Yes, this cream is pretty expensive, but worth the price tag in my opinion :) xxx
DeleteI love Charlotte Tilbury's packaging so much and this cream sounds really great - I have never used any of her products as I am not sure where to get it in Germany and her products are pretty pricey but I would love to test one of her products out one day.

You can order it online! But I think shipping might be a bit pricy! if you do ever get a chance, definitely try her range out as I've had nothing but great experience with her products!
